The round table was organized with the aim of developing the use of composite materials in the civilian sector of the economy and discussing innovative technologies for manufacturing products from composite materials.

During the round table, the experience of the development, implementation and mass production of transport elements from composite materials at the enterprises of the Flight Group was presented, examples of import substitution of structures and products from composite materials are presented.

The report of LLC Nanotechnological Center for Composites demonstrated the experience of the enterprise in the field of aircraft construction and the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Stage-by-stage technology for creating lodgements (matrices) for laying out composite materials using 3D printing, the advantages and options of application were presented by Prototype LLC specialists.

During the discussion, the participants discussed the possibility of implementing joint intra-cluster projects and the prospects for cooperation with a view to developing the use of composite materials in the civilian sector of the economy.

The event was attended by representatives of leading enterprises of the composite industry of the Kaluga region, including representatives of innovative enterprises of the city of Obninsk and the city of Moscow, as well as universities, leading and dynamically developing enterprises of the Kaluga region, including small innovative enterprises, development institutions of the Kaluga region, as well as young scientists.
