May 26, 2017 on the basis of JSC "ONPP" Technology "named after A.G. Romashina "held a training seminar" Non-destructive methods of testing materials and structures made of polymer composite materials and ceramics "with the participation of more than 40 representatives of 20 enterprises, including TESTIA an Airbus Group Company, Tupolev PJSC, Locus LLC, Nerkon LLC, SALUTRON LLC, AKA-SCAN LLC, the International Training and Scientific Laser Center of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov, AKOTECH Association, etc.

During the training seminar, highly qualified specialists from St. Petersburg and Moscow made reports on non-destructive testing methods and methods of its application, and in the practical part of the seminar demonstrated the work of high-tech equipment in the following areas:

    Ultrasonic testing of composite materials using portable ultrasonic devices Rollscan (Tecnatom Metalscan) and Dolphicam (DolphiTech);
    Thermographic control of composite materials using portable thermographic installation NDTherm (Opgal);
    Ultrasonic method for controlling the adhesive layer between dissimilar materials;
    Acoustic elasticity measurement of residual stresses in ceramic materials;
    Non-contact control of the thickness of coatings on products made of composite materials;
    Contact laser-ultrasonic structuroscopy of structural materials;
    The use of modern impedance flaw detectors to search for delaminations and non-adhesive composite materials.

The seminar was organized taking into account the profiles of enterprises - members of the AKOTECH Association and the specific features of the work of specialists directly involved in non-destructive testing.
