The event was held as part of the regional forum “Industry. Innovation Technologies".
During the session, the prospects of forming industrial clusters in the region and the possibility of obtaining state support for the implementation of projects within such associations were discussed.
Director of the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia, member of the Strategic Council for Investments in New Industries of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Andrei Shpilenko noted that currently 41 industrial clusters are included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, which allows more than 600 large and medium-sized enterprises to take measures state support.
Following the meeting, it was decided to conclude an agreement between the Government of the Kaluga Region and the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia with a view to mutually beneficial cooperation to expand cooperative ties and implement development projects of regional enterprises.
